Bloggers Should be Good Writers

While blogging is oft considered to mostly entail informal writing, this does not mean that it’s acceptable for bloggers to disregard writing rules. It’s bad enough that the Internet is considered to be not too good a source of information (with a lot of hoaxes around). A lot of material online is poorly written!
As a blogger, you contribute your articles into the general repository of information, which is the world wide web. Therefore, you should remember that you do have some responsibility with what you publish online. And this is not only about the sense of the content, but also the style and use of the language.
Correct spelling is a must, unless you really target misspelt words in optimizing for search engines. You should also use correct grammar, so that your readers will understand what you write. And then to make for easier reading, be sure to split your posts into right-sized paragraphs. Too long, and it will be hard to read. Too short, and your readers might think you are being too hasty.
